did he burn them in the stove? i love a good ritual. but i am very hard pressed to part with Anything let alone something i love. it is very, very painful for me. i have gotten better about releasing things but i grow very emotionally attached to inanimate objects. i still remember my favorite shoes from when i was five. so i get it with the vans.
